You don’t have to endure a long journey with endless queues to get away from it all this Valentine’s Day. A special Shire Hotel one or two night luxury break will get you in the mood in an instant. And we’ll even do our bit to keep the romance alive by giving you the opportunity to treat your special someone to a surprise bottle of champagne or perhaps a bouquet of beautiful flowers in your lovely guestroom.
It’s a chance to relax to your heart’s content. And whilst you may only have eyes for each other, it’s definitely worth checking out the lovely surroundings, not to mention our seductive Spa - yours to use with our compliments during your stay.
Of course, no Valentine’s Day would be complete without a truly romantic evening meal. With unbeatable attention to detail and a passion for quality local produce, our menu might just make you go weak at the knees. Relax with a One Night Spa Break complete with a 30 minute treatment, full use of the spa, delicious 3 course evening meal in the Restaurant ( with your choice from the a la carte menu) and full English breakfast the next morning.
Your stay includes:
- An all-inclusive Spa break with overnight stay, evening meal, breakfast, 30-minute ex-press Spa treatment, and full use of the Spa facilities - everything you need for 24 hours of complete relaxation.
- Arrive at the Hotel mid-morning to give yourself chance to settle in and find your way around the hotel. We’ll confirm your treatment time with you when you check in, so you can plan your stay and make the most of the Spa facilities.
- Choose from either an Express Facial, Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage, Body Polish, Salt & Oil Scrub, Eye Lift or Tidy & Varnish – any of our treatments will help you on your way to a clearer mind, calmer spirit and eased tension.
- In the evening you will dine in the hotel’s restaurant choosing from dishes that feature local and regional produce, then enjoying time to socialise in the bar or simply relaxing in your stylish guest bedroom – the choice is yours. In the morning there’s a full traditional breakfast or lighter options – well worth getting up for – and time for one last swim before you head home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Package is based on two adults sharing a twin/double room and includes dinner and breakfast. If your partner would like to join you but prefers not to take treatments, the normal dinner, bed and breakfast rate per person, per night based on a two-night stay will apply - ask for details when booking. Guest rooms are normally available from 2pm, however we will do our best to ensure that your accomodation is ready for midday on your arrival day.

With so many theatres, concerts, events and great days out in and around Leeds, we thought you might appreciate a special rate for your small party, family gathering or weekend getaway with friends
Whatever the reason - friends or family - get together for the weekend at Thorpe Park and we'll help plan the party with you.
Group bookings for 3 or more rooms (6 people) or more for only £95.00 per person including dinner, bed and breakfast or £65.00 per person including bed and breakfast. Both rates also include a 'drinks reception ' - a glass of house wine and tasty nibbles each - served at a time to suit you! Just call us to check availability and make your booking.
Your ‘Get Together’ package includes:
- Overnight accommodation.
- Enjoy your very own Drinks Reception at a time to suit your party - relax with a glass of wine and nibbles.
- Full use of the first class Spa
- Gather in The Bar for drinks before heading out for the evening or if you have chosen to dine with us, your three-course a la carte meal will be served in our AA Rosette award restaurant - View a sample a la carte menu
